Sir William McPherson – Saturday 13th June 2015

Divers: Tim, Ben J, Ben H, Ben G, Andrew &  Youri

After 5 days with hardly any wind the conditions at the surface were amazing so we were excited for a good dive on the Sir William McPherson, a steel dredge scuttled in 1949. Now she lays in 54m of water.
The viz was not great, about 2m, but after a couple of minutes we stumbled on the wreck. The Willy Mac is always a pleasant dive and bad viz can be a good thing as you tend to focus on more on the little details. There is a lot of stuff to look at. After 25 minutes it was time to start the ascend and to make important decisions like where to have lunch. Finished the day discussing the dive over a nice meal, even though they don’t do scrambled eggs….
Thanks to Tim for the good organisation as always. Looking forward to the next one.
